Just to continue this horrible pictureless dry spell, I would like to add that I finished Kite Runner today and... while literarily speaking (I am so not speaking English right now) I would call the symbolism and parallels and whatnot so blatantly obvious, I have to say Hosseini does plot and suspense like wow, and "For you, a thousand times over," and writers who get relationships and self-torment right are able to articulate the inarticulable.
Obviously I have a way with words.
