a lesson in deductive logic

p = short haircut
q = scarf

p --> q
(If p, then q.)

The contrapositive of this statement should be logically equivalent and would be written as

-q --> -p
(If not q, then not p.)

However, this is false because sometimes I wear scarves when my hair is long. Therefore this statement is invalid. Thanks, Philosphy 12A.

TRANSLATION: Every time I cut my hair above my shoulders, I feel the need to cover up my neck. Also, this outfit is incredibly boring and much too neat.
