Dior Cristal Boreale Collection for Holiday 2009

For its 2009 Christmas Look, Christian Dior Parfums has collaborated for the very first time with the Swarovski House to create an exceptional Star Product using the legendary Aurore Boréale crystal : “Cristal Boréal”. The oval pendant, inspired by the shape of the neo-Louis XVI chairs that Christian Dior loved, is adorned with 52 Swarovski crystals of which 4 are Aurore Boréale. Priced at RM220.00.

After seeing the Dennis Basso S/S 2010 show, I decided I really needed some lace-top thigh high stockings in my life, so I went to Nordstrom to pick up a pair. Sheer black lace-top thigh high stockings with a backseam probably don't qualify as appropriate classroom attire... but I'm not an appropriate person. Therefore.

I say, at least I didn't wear something short enough for the top of the stockings to be visible when in a neutral stance.

V-neck sweater: K-8 uniform. Napoleon in War Paint t-shirt: Threadless. Floral slip: secondhand. Sheer black lace-top thigh highs with backseam: Nordstrom. Oxfords: Payless.

rain, take two

Unfortunately, most of my rain outfits look the same, owing to the fact that I have only one pair of rain boots and one rain jacket. My heart is filled with woe!

So this means I need to learn how to dress for rain and hot weather, because all I know how to dress for is... fog.
