I lead an exciting life.

English final: over.

I can't believe I missed the ID from T. S. Eliot's "The Wasteland."

I am foolish.

Here is one of the two blue books I brought because I was afraid I would need more than one. I ended up not needing this one. I didn't need my four other pens, either.

Above, why buy blue books when you can get them for free in the dining hall?

Above, our trash can. The makeup wedge is my roommate's, but the bowl does not contain foundation. Haha. It's chocolate ice cream. It looks gross, though.

Above, the taste of Thanksgiving.

Above, some of the materials I have/had to review from bottom to top: Anthropology reader, Things Fall Apart by Chinua Achebe, The Complete Persepolis by Marjane Satrapi, Mrs. Dalloway by Virginia Woolf, The Sound and the Fury by William Faulkner, and The Norton Anthology of Modern Poetry. Somehow I was really prophetic over the summer and read two of them before school as well as a lot of the most important poems from the anthology. Now I just have to get cracking on anthropology and astronomy.

P. S. If you do get a chance, take Filippenko's Astro C10 class. It's one of those classes you might not like while you're taking it, but you'll be grateful afterward. Like APES.

Above, my December calendar! How exciting!

Above, how I have been staying awake in astronomy. It's for my aunt.

Above, this is an in-progress shot about halfway through. It's a short scarf.

Above, one day I was eating strawberry Pocky and noticed how pink everything was. (Note: I don't even like Pocky that much. I just needed to spend meal points.)

Above, strange health drinks that taste like watered-down Gatorade but seem to help when I don't feel great, and English lecture notes from the professor.

Above, this is what our window looked like after Mariah left the water boiler not quite closed all the way. We didn't realize how warm and steamy (porn websearch beware!) the room was getting until we looked at the window and figured out it wasn't fog. It's okay. It was freezing that day, so our room was nice and toasty.

Now I'm off to an Indian restaurant!

And then back to study.
